The transparent hand guard lets you see exactly what you’re cutting while keeping debris off you and the tool, and the blade tip protector prevents damage to the most important parts of the trimmer. It’s less than 10 lbs., so you can hold it up high to get the tops of hedges without much strain. Use it all day long without much fatigue. This model doesn’t come with batteries, but that’s by design. It’s meant for existing Power Share users that already have batteries that they can use to power this hedge trimmer.
