This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a dark sunset made out of a line pattern. Tammy Kushnir has been an artist for as long as she can remember. Starting with drawing portraits to mixed media work, Tammy’s style is constantly evolving. Her work has been seen in various publications such as ‘Somerset Memories’ and ‘Somerset Studio’ and other Stampington & Company publications. She has written two craft books titled ‘Wedding Journals and Keepsake Gifts: Creating Gifts to Make and Share’ with Quarry and ‘The Elemental Journal: Composing Artful Expressions from Items Cast Aside’ with North Light books. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist’s canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
